The Levels We Have/Los Niveles Que Tenemos

In NEOL we manage the Common European Framework for student learning as a guide, consisting of 6 levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced

En NEOL manejamos el Marco Comun Europeo para el aprendizaje de los alumnos como guia, constando de 6 niveles: Principiante, Intermedio y Avanzado

BEGINNERS/PRINCIPIANTES

A1

You are able to understand and use everyday expressions of very frequent use as well as simple phrases designed to meet immediate needs. You can introduce yourself and others, ask and give basic personal information about your address, your belongings and the people you know. You can relate elementally as long as your speaker talks slowly and clearly and is willing to cooperate

Seras capaz de comprender y utilizar expresiones cotidianas de uso muy frecuente así como frases sencillas destinadas a satisfacer necesidades de tipo inmediato. Podras presentarte a tí mismo y a otros, pedir y dar información personal básica sobre tu domicilio, tus pertenencias y las personas que conoces. Puedes relacionarte de forma elemental siempre que tu interlocutor hable despacio y con claridad y esté dispuesto a cooperar.

A2

You are able to understand frequently used phrases and expressions related to areas of expertise that are especially relevant (basic information about yourself and your family, shopping, places of interest, occupations, etc.). You will know how to communicate when carrying out simple and daily tasks that do not require more than simple and direct exchanges of information on issues that are known or common. You will know how to describe in simple terms aspects of your past and your surroundings as well as issues related to your immediate needs.

Seras capaz de comprender frases y expresiones de uso frecuente relacionadas con áreas de experiencia que le son especialmente relevantes (información básica sobre tu mismo y tu familia, compras, lugares de interés, ocupaciones, etc). Sabras comunicarte a la hora de llevar a cabo tareas simples y cotidianas que no requieran más que intercambios sencillos y directos de información sobre cuestiones que son conocidas o habituales. Sabras describir en términos sencillos aspectos de tu pasado y tu entorno así como cuestiones relacionadas con tus necesidades inmediatas.

INTERMIDIATE/INTERMEDIO

B1

He is able to understand the main points of clear texts and in standard language if they deal with issues that are known to him, whether in work, study or leisure situations. He knows how to cope with most situations that may arise during a trip through areas where the language is used. He is able to produce simple and coherent texts on topics that are familiar to him or in which he has a personal interest. You can describe experiences, events, desires and aspirations, as well as briefly justify your opinions or explain your plans.

Es capaz de comprender los puntos principales de textos claros y en lengua estándar si tratan sobre cuestiones que le son conocidas, ya sea en situaciones de trabajo, de estudio o de ocio. Sabe desenvolverse en la mayor parte de las situaciones que pueden surgir durante un viaje por zonas donde se utiliza la lengua. Es capaz de producir textos sencillos y coherentes sobre temas que le son familiares o en los que tiene un interés personal. Puede describir experiencias, acontecimientos, deseos y aspiraciones, así como justificar brevemente sus opiniones o explicar sus planes.

B2

He is able to understand the main ideas of complex texts that deal with both concrete and abstract topics, even if they are of a technical nature provided they are within their field of expertise. It can relate to native speakers with a sufficient degree of fluency and naturalness so that communication is carried out effortlessly by any of the interlocutors. It can produce clear and detailed texts on diverse subjects as well as defend a point of view on general subjects indicating the pros and cons of the different options.

Es capaz de entender las ideas principales de textos complejos que traten de temas tanto concretos como abstractos, incluso si son de carácter técnico siempre que estén dentro de su campo de especialización. Puede relacionarse con hablantes nativos con un grado suficiente de fluidez y naturalidad de modo que la comunicación se realice sin esfuerzo por parte de ninguno de los interlocutores. Puede producir textos claros y detallados sobre temas diversos así como defender un punto de vista sobre temas generales indicando los pros y los contras de las distintas opciones.

ADVANCE/AVANZADO

C1

It is able to understand a wide variety of extensive texts and with a certain level of demand, as well as to recognize in them implicit senses. He knows how to express himself fluently and spontaneously without very obvious signs of effort to find the right expression. You can make flexible and effective use of the language for social, academic and professional purposes. It can produce clear, well structured and detailed texts on topics of certain complexity, showing a correct use of the mechanisms of organization, articulation and cohesion of the text


Es capaz de comprender una amplia variedad de textos extensos y con cierto nivel de exigencia, así como reconocer en ellos sentidos implícitos. Sabe expresarse de forma fluida y espontánea sin muestras muy evidentes de esfuerzo para encontrar la expresión adecuada. Puede hacer un uso flexible y efectivo del idioma para fines sociales, académicos y profesionales. Puede producir textos claros, bien estructurados y detallados sobre temas de cierta complejidad, mostrando un uso correcto de los mecanismos de organización, articulación y cohesión del texto

He is able to easily understand practically everything he hears or reads. He knows how to reconstruct information and arguments from various sources, whether in spoken or written language, and present them in a coherent and summarized manner. It can be expressed spontaneously, with great fluidity and with a degree of precision that allows you to differentiate small nuances of meaning even in situations of greater complexity.

Es capaz de comprender con facilidad prácticamente todo lo que oye o lee. Sabe reconstruir la información y los argumentos procedentes de diversas fuentes, ya sean en lengua hablada o escrita, y presentarlos de manera coherente y resumida. Puede expresarse espontáneamente, con gran fluidez y con un grado de precisión que le permite diferenciar pequeños matices de significado incluso en situaciones de mayor complejidad.

KIDS

activities are most suitable for children who can understand and use some words and short phrases, and can follow simple stories, songs and texts.

LEVEL 2

activities are most suitable for children who can understand and use words and sentences in common topics and situations. They can follow more complex stories and texts. 

LEVEL 3

activities are most suitable for children who can understand and use a wide range of language and can follow a variety of complex stories and texts, including those aimed at native-speaker children.
